We are accepting applications for an experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately forecasting the costs of construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, proposals, and other documentation. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to prepare comprehensive and competitive cost estimates for various construction projects. 

• Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, specifications, and contract documents to understand the scope of work.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for all trades and project components we will be bidding.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes, ensuring adequate coverage for all scopes of work.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, including labor, material, equipment, subcontractor costs, and overhead.
• Develop and maintain a cost database from past projects and market rates.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates.
• Identify potential risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving measures.
• Prepare and submit bid proposals in a timely and professional manner.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits if required.
• Assist in project hand-off to the project management team upon award.
• Maintain organized records of all estimates and supporting documentation.

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry (minimum 3-5 years preferred).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methodologies across various project types.
• Proficiency with construction estimating software (Procore, QuickBid, On-Screen Takeoff) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Must be able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required. 

• This position is primarily office-based with occasional travel to project sites or pre-bid meetings.
